What Our Clients Say

Caroline Kellner
We took 6 dance lessons here prior to our June Wedding in order to learn "a few moves" before our first dance and feel more confident. What we weren't expecting was having such a fun time dancing and laughing every class. Our instructor Ava was kind and a great teacher. Ava put together a routine to our wedding song that was the perfect level of natural/choreographed. By our wedding day, we felt confident to pull off a dance that incorporated rumba, foxtrot and club swing elements! We've been talking about signing back up for classes because it was such a mood-lifter and positive experience.

The first time I went to the studio as a guest of my son who was taking lessons at that time. There was a drawing and I won two free lessons with an instructor. I enjoyed it so much so I signed up for 4 weekly private lessons and then after one month signed up for 24 private lessons and then after that for 80 lessons and now I'm up to 100 lessons with 2 different teachers. It was the best thing I could do for my mental and physical health at that time. I have made many friends and even went to Cancun for a competition in January 2015. So after 4 1/2 years of taking private lessons and going to group classes and getting to the Bronze 4 level I hope to continue for as long as I can.

When I walked into the studio for the first time, I wanted to learn 2 dances. I figured I’d be gone in a few months. Well, 2 dances turned into 15 and a few months turned into 5 years. I have made some great friendships- the other students are so helpful and supportive and are genuinely happy to see you succeed. The teachers are skilled, professional and know how to bring out the best in each student. Even though you have your assigned teachers, they are all your teachers- advising and teaching each time they dance with you, whether it be in a group lesson, private lesson, or practice.

We started dancing at Arthur Murray Princeton when we were practicing for our first dance. The instructors were incredible - we told them we actually wanted our first dance to be a jitterbug/single swing (well, I did and my husband was a good sport) and to have a dip at the end, and they delivered! We loved it so much that we got right back to dancing as soon as we got back from the honeymoon. What really makes it special are the people there - at the end of the long workday there's nothing better than dancing with the nicest, most supportive and all around best people you'll ever meet.

We have been taking lessons Since the fall of 2015 and LOVE Arthur Murray Princeton! We've learned dances such as Cha Cha, Salsa, Merengue, Tango and more! I never imagined that we would have this much dance knowledge in such a short time. There are opportunities to work with professionals and receive feedback and showcases events where you can perform routines with your teacher. The staff is incredibly patient and friendly and I truly feel that there care about our progress and want to see us do well. I highly recommend coming to take lessons. The owners John and Lori have created an amazing studio with great staff and a supportive environment. Don't miss out!

Arthur Murray Princeton is not just a place where you learn to dance, but get immersed in a community of truly incredible people. The instructors are kind, patient, talented and at times hilarious. Not only are they dance instructors, but at times they’ve had to play psychologist or friend and do so with grace. Not only have I learned how to waltz and swing, but I’ve learned to forgive myself when things don’t come easily. And that’s a lesson that’ll carry with me forever.
